Based at my home in Guildford, Surrey, I am continually developing the illustrative technique to meet the requirements of commissions which have come from as far a field as Cumbria and Cornwall. I think it is important to drive to the locations to take photographic reference and meet the people involved in the commission personally. I find you can relate better to the subject matter and take the detailed shots which are required for this technique.
